Enough was enough

Two friends from the motor trade who got tired of being let down by trailer repairers and decided to do it properly themselves.
Our story

We were the frustrated customer

We're two friends who have spent our whole lives in the motor trade, working on cars and trailers. We use our own trailers every day to move vehicles, from low-value recoveries to million-pound-plus cars, so when a trailer is off the road, work stops.

For years we tried one trailer repair company after another and kept being disappointed: poor workmanship, poor customer service, and long waits to get booked in when what we needed was a quick turnaround.

We got chatting, decided enough was enough, and set up in partnership to build the trailer repair business we'd always wanted to find. C&B Trailer Services was the result.

The build

From empty unit to working workshop

When we took on Unit 6B it was an empty shell. We built a reception and office from scratch, then put in the lifts, tyre machine and parts stock needed to get trailers in and out fast.

What we take on

From a tyre to a full rebuild

No job too big, no job too small. We work on car transporters (including Brian James T6, RT6 and RT7), plant trailers, horseboxes, boat trailers, jet ski trailers and general-purpose trailers. If it gets your trailer back on the road, we'll do it.

Everyday jobs

Tyre changes, new tyres, puncture repairs, bearings, light units, electrics, jockey wheels and routine servicing.

Major repairs

Axle changes from single to tri-axle, suspension, brakes, full coupling replacement and chassis work.

Bodywork & plates

Floors, ramps, panels, full horsebox panel changes, and DVLA registered number plates made while you wait.

Full transparency

No guesswork and no taking our word for it. Once your trailer is up in the air with the hubs off, we film a full inspection and send it to you on WhatsApp, so you know exactly what needs doing and why.
